Registration of Live Birth
Birth registration is the permanent and official record of the child’s existence. The birth of the child shall be registered within 30 days from the time of birth, otherwise it is considered as late. Records of birth can be used in securing any license, for enrollment, employment, passport, claiming burial, pension and other benefits.
